
Maria L. Moura
Maria L. Moura is an associate at the Setaro Law Firm. Her practice focuses on workers compensation and immigration law.
A magna cum laude graduate of Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, Maria has clerked for the Connecticut Attorney General’s Office, the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities, and for Hon. Rachel Hahn at Yonkers Family Court. She also clerked for a full year at the Immigration Justice Clinic at John Jay Legal Services where she successfully represented pro bono clients in Family Court and Immigration Court.
Prior to attending law school, Maria worked as a litigation paralegal for several years where her language skills helped her give a voice to those unable to communicate in English. As an attorney, Maria continues to ensure her clients’ voices are heard by advocating for theirs rights and focusing on their priorities.
Maria is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.
